Miss C’s is the result of not being able to find suppliers of Lycra thong leotards,easily and reasonably priced, for sale any more in the UK. Which isn't much use to us in the UK. Many many years ago, back in the 1980’s (which doesn't actually feel that long ago). I fell in love with the gym wear that was worn at that time. My love for the gym leotard never changed but times do and so does fashion
. Gradually the demand, for the Lycra thong leotard , just wasn't there. I found it harder and harder to find them in the shops. I had a few so I wasn't too worried as I always thought that they would come back in to fashion, Well why wouldn't they? Now its 2015 and they haven’t made a comeback, they became harder and harder to find. I would find the odd one in a charity shop now and again, as people decided that they didn't want them any more. My Love for the Lycra thong leotard never left me and I still love to wear mine, every now and again, in private obviously. I would love nothing more than to turn up to my local gym wearing these and not be looked at like I've just jumped off the loony bus. (please fashion, change back)
I decided its time to share my love of Lycra and the skills I’ve learnt as a seamstress throughout my life to good use to design and make my own Lycra thong leotards, not only for me to enjoy, but as I’ve become to find out, there are also many other lovers of this style of garment too. I am designing a new range at the moment, called 'Miss C', I will post the finished items on here very soon. I’m very excited about the finished products.
