The House of Peacock - jewellery design. One off designs in silver, nature inspired. Wish I had more time for this hobby! hello!

I wanted a page where I could put images of things that I'm making as I learn to fettle silver in to jewellery, plus my attempts at pottery. I wanted to show the different start-to-finish processes I go through to make my designs, so you can see how much thought, work (and sometimes blood!) goes in to each one. Hope you like seeing what I get up to in the garage while the other half is out cycling!

Well, its taken some time, but I've finally moved my office, craft stuff and jewellery bench in to what was our original spare room (which has relocated in to a room whose purpose used to be general dumping ground!). Now I'm not working on Fridays, I'm determined to craft and jewel. So hit me up with any bangle, necklace, nature inspired item you want me to make!

Was a tricky make, many layers and processes, but I'm chuffed with the end product, and she loves it. Win win!

Resizing 1,making another out of spare bits. Quite like it, will see how it wears/if leaving it open makes it catch on ...

A s ever, we had lovely chats to the other people in this friendly relaxing class, and a NorthLight Arts Centre have an exhibition on at the moment - there's a painting I can't get out of my head. It may need to come live at our house...

Me and my lovely friend Dee Anne Douglas went to our 1st jewellery club on Friday and we made her some smashing viking inspired earrings for a fancy wedding she's off to, and I mucked about with some wire. We're going to do a cuff bracelet next.
