Handcrafted card feels a little more special. 💙

Especially when it’s made with sea glass that has been naturally smoothed by the sea. 🌊

We’ve been making lots of our sea glass cards for the craft fair next Saturday (Hemsworth Community Centre 10 - 3), and I thought I’d share a few of them with you today.

They’re perfect if you want something a little different for a birthday, thank you, anniversary, wedding, or simply to let someone know you’re thinking of them.

And the lovely thing is that some people keep them afterwards as little pieces of artwork.

A little bit of sea glass… but make it useful! 🖊️🌊

We’ve been making more of our sea glass pens ready for next weekend.

I think these make such lovely gifts because they’re something you can actually use, but they’re also a bit different from the usual gift.

They’d make a lovely little present for a friend, teacher, colleague, mum, sister… or anyone who loves the seaside.

And they don’t cost a fortune either. 💙

Current Status: Resisting the urge to wear a trench coat and sunglasses to stalk the shelves at The Crafty Corner Brighouse to see who is buying our cards. 🕶️🕵️‍♂️

It’s been a few weeks since we stocked our card display for the first time, and we are dying to know if any have sold —more importantly—which specific designs are flying off the shelves. Have any of our love birds found a new home ? Any cute birds celebrating a birthday ? Or perhaps the shoppers are still in summer vibes and sailing away with our little boats ?

If anyone pops in please drop us a comment and tell us how our card display is looking, Its going to be a long month as our first sales report isnt received til around the 10th of October

Why do we love seaglass ? 🌊

You can pick up a piece and wonder how long it’s been in the sea, where it came from and how many years it took the waves to turn it into that lovely smooth little piece.

That’s what we love about making things with it.

Every piece is different, and when we make a card, picture or pen, we never quite know how it’s going to look until it all comes together.

That’s the fun of it. 😊

New local venue - we couldn't resist introducing the Hemsworth village to Sandy.

We’ll be taking lots of our favourites along next Saturday, but if you can’t make the fair, you can have a look at everything in our Etsy shop.
