It’s International Dog Day today so we’re spamming you with photos of our dogs.

These two beautiful boys - Spike and Tye - belong to our Shop Manager, Jayne.

I think everyone will agree what gorgeous boys they are too.

Protech are also proud to sponsor a Guide Dog in training. We have done this for many years as we know how important these dogs are.

We’d love to see photos of your dogs in the comments.

HAPPY NATIONAL OATCAKE DAY!

Here in the Staffordshire Moorlands, we know there’s only one oatcake worth talking about!

Forget the crunchy oatcakes you might find elsewhere - our Staffordshire oatcakes are soft, savoury and delicious 😋, especially when they are loaded with melted cheese and bacon or whatever else takes your fancy!

And we have to give a big shout-out to our neighbours - Leek Oatcake Shop, right next to us here at Protech! ❤️.

Being proudly based in Leek, we’re lucky to have such a fantastic local oatcake shop on our doorstep. So today, we’re celebrating one of our favourite Staffordshire specialities!

How will you cook yours? And what are your favourite fillings? We’d love to know in the comments below 😊
