These chemicals are commonplace in laundry detergents; they leave a layer of chemicals on your clothes that make them appear brighter and whiter whilst actually masking stains and yellowing. The brighteners are not biodegradable and can build in our water systems and oceans, causing damage to marine life.
You won’t find optical brighteners in our laundry detergent; we rely on our formula to do the hard work.’
