Originally created in Japan, Pokémon debuted in the United States in August 1998, and the video game, television show, and trading card game almost immediately exploded in popularity. By the end of 1999, the franchise raked in $1 billion in North America alone. Though Pokémon was mostly meant for children, people of all ages became obsessed with the creature-collecting game and the adventures of Ash Ketchum — and many fans still enjoy it today. While the initial Pokémon craze cooled off somewhat, it remains the most valuable media franchise in the world, bringing in over $100 billion in revenue.

We stood our first Fayre today. Thank you to everyone who came along, it was lovely chatting to you all, and the kids were amazing.

I can confirm we will be back for Enderby Parish Councils Summer Fete and our 15 for £1 on ALL rare, uncommon, and common will be there too (we have lots more to come with us, today was a trial run).

Great morning at Pokemania Events at De Montfort University Leicester (DMU). Shame there wasn’t many Blastoise’s but did managed to grab some great art by Jack Bailey (massively regretting forgetting to get a business card now!) and Violet won big on the lucky dips. Shout out to Hillier Entertainment for not only taking us but also sporting our merch and carrying our bags 😂
