Jerry built this business with passion, craftsmanship, and a true love for creating beautiful bespoke picture frames that have adorned countless homes and galleries over the years. His dedication and artistry will always be at the heart of what we do.

We’re proud to announce that the company has now reopened under new management, and we remain committed to continuing Jerry’s legacy of quality and care.

It is with great sadness that I have decided to close the business after 48 years of trading. Following a Stroke and Sepsis, I am almost Blind and have reduced mobility. We will be closing at 5.30pm on Saturday 29th June for one week. The shop will be open as normal at 9am on Monday the 8th July.

We are having problems with our Card payment trerninal at present. Please sort out an alternative payment method i.e. Cash, cheque, or Bank transfer as our terminal is declining most payments and randomly accepting odd ones. Needless to say this situation is very frustrating for all of us and I can only apologise. Please be patient with our staff. Thank you.

Dear valued Cudtomers and Friends of Brikabrak. Ny name is Gerry Wells, the Founder, together with my late wife, Sue in 1977. I have been unable to play any active role in the day to day running of the business since having a Stroke and Sepsis in 2019. I can no longer drive because I have lost most of my Sight due to Macular Degeneration and so I really struggle to see keyboards, monitors or correspondence.

The framing side of the business is not affected, as most of you will already know, that Matthew Wright has done all of the framing for over 30 years. He is also now a part owner of the business.
Please be aware that we never give Quotes or Estimates without first seeing and handling your items.

We have been established foe over 45 years in Leicester and continue to offer a top quality picture framing service. We also always have 1,000's of ready made frames and mounts for a much cheaper DIY option if you are feeling adventurous!

We will be closed on Monday 19th September and re-open on Tuesday 20th as a mark of respect to our late Queen; I am, however, appalled at the mountains of floral tributes that will be composted in a few days time. Surely that money would have been better spent on charitable donations?
