At the time, it probably made perfect sense.

You were upgrading.

The pair that started it all.

Maybe they were proper DJ headphones...
Maybe they were borrowed from your parents' hi-fi.
Maybe they only worked in one ear.
Maybe they were held together with tape.
Or maybe they were a pair you "borrowed" and never gave back... 😅

Whatever they were, they were there for those first nervous mixes, first bedroom sets, first parties and those moments when you realised...
