Here’s a trio of brilliant new records. Come down and have a listen!

The Marco Benevento release comes via the ever reliable Big Crown Records and is a lot of fun! Lots of collabs with synths, organ, harp, horns, and killer percussion throughout.

Curió Curió is another big essential, for those who enjoyed the highly recommended Peki Momés release last year, get on this as producer 𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙪𝙣 is central to the sounds.

Lastly the return of Orquesta Akokán is a certified sizzler. Latin soul, boogaloo, and salsa. Track for track is a stomper - but ‘Girassol’ in particular is one of the best things I’ve heard this year.
