We get asked all the time: "Do I really need a primer?" The honest answer? It depends — but most of the time, yes. 🛠️

Getting the prep right means your top coat lasts longer, looks better, and goes further. Here is your quick guide to getting it right:

🪵 Bare wood → Always prime first to seal the surface.

🔩 Bare metal → Use a dedicated metal primer or a DTM (Direct to Metal) paint.

🧱 Fresh plaster → Apply a mist coat (diluted emulsion) first to stop the plaster sucking up your paint.
