Customer Rod brought his LP build back after we did a stainless refret on it about 4 or 5 months ago, for rewire and full setup.
In that time he’d done all the paintwork.
He’d fitted the bridge and tailpiece but had forgotten to insert the Earth wire into the hole where the tailpiece anchor goes
So I got to try out the new bushing puller that I made last week.
All good! 👍

Just a heads up to any of you guys who are using these new style rechargeable 9 V batteries that have a USB charger point on them

Just had a customer bring in a taylor with a fishman piezo end pin preamp
The Guitar had a noticeable underlying Buzz. Not awful but it was there and a bit annoying for the customer.
He told me the battery in the Guitar was good, so I didn’t immediately check that. But when coming to look further, I discovered he is using one of these batteries.
I changed it for a regular 9 V alkaline battery and the Buzz immediately disappeared
