My passion for pre-loved and vintage wears was embedded in me from a young age by my mother, who would often come home with trawls of treasure from 'Harrods of Petersfield', otherwise known as the charity shop. As the youngest child of 4, I was always in hand-me-downs and this seemed completely normal. It wasn't until I started working in the fashion industry that I realised the sheer volume of wa

ste created by fast fashion - it became my mission to live more sustainably and to shop more consciously. In 2018 my daughter, Ophelia, was born and I was given hoards of clothes and toys and everything in between from generous friends and family. I realised that half of the clothes were brand new, some even with tags on, and at the rate Ophelia was growing I wouldn't be able to get through even a third of them. The piles of kids clothes get higher and my husband starts asking questions about what I've got hidden in the loft! Lockdown kicks in and I decide that that little dream I've always had of owning my own shop, one that encourages sustainability and rotation, might just be worth making a reality. I hope you love the shop as much as I do - the thought of circulating my children's items and sending them off to new, loving homes is one that fills me with joy. I hope you find the same joy in receiving them. As my mother says:
"Beautiful things should be passed through many hands"

A visual interpretation of how I feel when I remember that second-hand bargains can be found e v e r y d a y 🤭 don’t give in to the black friday hype - it’s mostly big brands slightly deflating their hugely inflated prices and tricking you in to thinking you’re getting a deal and panic buying stuff you really don’t need or want.

Instead, make a list of what you really need / want and have a look on second-hand sites and reseller platforms. It’s fun, I promise!

Tag your favourite second-hand sellers in the comments and lets big-up the little guys, not the bad guys! *cough* amazon *cough* h&m

I’ve had a bit of a crazy idea… I’m going to share with you guys some items that I’d normally buy and sell on.

I’m going to share the links with you guys and you can buy them!

Want to know why I’m doing this? I spend so much time scouring shops and the internet for second hand treasure, and I find SO much, but I can’t buy it all! Sometimes items are priced a bit higher than I’d regard as ‘wholesale’ price, meaning I can’t make a viable profit.

Sometimes I like an item but just don’t love it enough to invest in it as a sellable product.

Sometimes I find items that are absolutely incredible, but just aren’t quite the right fit for my shop.

I think all of these items are really cool, and are priced really well. Plus they’re all vintage or preloved, which makes them even better!

So, rather than regretting the vintage I didn’t buy - I’m going to let you guys buy it instead! ❤️
