Our Children’s section is definitely the most colourful corner of the shop! 🌈

With only a couple of weeks left of the summer holidays, it’s time to stock up on your kids’ favourite books. From renowned series such as Skandar and Percy Jackson, and hilarious graphic novels like Bunny vs Monkey (a firm favourite amongst our younger customers!), to engaging board books for the little ones and classics such as Winnie-the-Pooh and Beatrix Potter, we have it all here at Book!

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting local author Susannah Hockham as she launched her debut novel, A Moment in the Maldives!🌴

We had a great turnout and got to hear a (PG!) excerpt from Susannah’s book, as well as ask some burning questions about the novel and her writing journey.

Thank you to Susannah Hockham for choosing our bookshop for your launch – it was an honour to be part of such a special evening!

Let’s be honest, we all judge a book by its cover to some extent. Even if the story is exceptionally well written and grips you from start to finish, it’s often the cover that intrigues us enough to pick it up.

So, we thought we’d highlight some of the most beautiful books we have in stock (in our opinion)! They’re often hiding amongst the shelves, but their covers – and the stories inside – are truly wonderful.
