That's all, folks!

The wheel has turned five times since first we met but as the wheel turns, so does life and our lives are taking us to pastures new!

It has truly been an honour to meet so many of you and to be a part of this incredible community. We want to extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone that has traded with us, visited us or contributed to the magick that happened to make Leith Witchcraft Market the belter of a thing it was.

Our aim was always to keep traders local, stalls affordable and the crafts of an amazing standard and we are proud to say we achieved this. This market was created at it's core, by two (quite mad) people - with many lives and multiple jobs - and organising the market around those things was no mean feat.

We are tired and we've done our bit and we hope you had a lovely time being there with us while we did it. Yule 2025 was the last Leith Witchcraft Market.

Laura is flying off (on her broom obvs) to the Isle of Lewis to pursue one of the coolest jobs going and Amelia is plotting some other things to quietly unsettle everyone with later.

We couldn't have done it without you, Witches 🩷

Thank you

Meet the Makers! Mike from

"Over 30 years a forester, I make handcrafted birch brooms, from locally sourced materials.

All birch swishy heads, with individual bindings pinned with MH logo, and with unique characterful handles of birch, rowan, oak, willow.

All sizes from full size to altar pieces to miniature, they're all robust and functional and can be a plain finish to very ornate.

Will make bespoke brooms to order, but please, come touch and hold them, and find the one that feels right for you."

The other design which will feature will be The Biblically Correct All-Seing Angel in a trinity of white, red and black .

I will also offer All-Seing Headband , bags , balaclavas and I’m working on forbidden fruit and more traditional decorations.  "

Meet the Makers! Alexandra from

"Daughter of Helios, named for the witch goddess Circe, is a collection of magical jewellery, handmade in Greece. My work is centred on the idea of wearable talismans- pieces that call in the energy we desire in our lives, whether that's protection (I make a LOT of evil eyes), comfort, abundance, or the warmth and brightness of the summer sun on colder, darker winter days. They are perfect for use in rituals, or just for adorning yourself with reminders of the magic in the world. I take inspiration from the natural world, ancient civilisations and all things mystical, to make modern jewels in either solid brass or recycled sterling silver, which are intended to accompany the wearer through all seasons of their life. For my latest collection, I've been working a lot with the energy of fire, in this season of cold and damp, and using it to melt metal, creating 3-dimensional, tactile, chunky shapes, which have a comforting and grounding weight to them."

"I'm a watercolour artist and pagan author, working mainly on book illustration & decks.
My latest creations are A Compendium of Witches, and the Tarot of the Witch's Garden.

Nature, folklore and anthropology are my passions and muses. At the stall you'll find signed books, decks, prints, calendars, greeting cards, stationary aplenty!

For the Winter Solstice market I am planning a small selection of hand painted ceramic ornaments, celebrating the divine feminine & winter traditions."

Meet the Makers! Ciara from

"Ciara Veronica Dunne is a visual artist from Ireland Ciara makes a broad range of Art objects
at her Edinburgh studio
“This season there will be plenty of festive, thoughtful pieces to gift or cosy up with on the chilly evenings: maybe it’s a unique illustrated mug or a special candle stand for your altar”,
Ciara draws inspiration from Myth, Nature and Liminality: where Fae, wee beasties, imagination and our place in the land converge

I have been inspired by Yule, as a time for celebration, intention and enjoying our families and communities This is reflected ,in the work, with joyful outpouring of patterns, flowers, cheeky little devils and pacifying angels throughout the pieces

Ciara plays with dimensions to make objects of curiosity with function or as art objects:
'I would like to democratise owning art objects with the pieces I make, I would like the person who has the piece to cherish it, through their intention or to appreciate its uniqueness.

"At the market, I'll be bringing handmade, hand-stitched, felt Krampus ornaments (everyone needs a Krampus at Christmas!) as well as offering hand-drawn prints of seasonal icons such as the Yule Cat, Gryla, the Yule goat, Mari Lwyd and you guessed it, Krampus!

I specialise in detailed line drawings that I create with dipping ink and a quill! I'll also be bringing some ceramic tiles decorated with hand-painted and hand-carved botanical illustrations of seasonal flowers and greenery - holly, mistletoe, etc"

"I’m Siobhán, an illustrator, tarot reader, & wine witch offering Tarot Tastings — a customized wine tasting paired with a mini tarot reading.
Get the festivities into full swing with a line-up of wines designed to lift spirits and find our light ❄️

Wine readings channel mini messages for the collective attendees — reflecting on themes of rebirth, wisdom, and of course celebration
— while the wines themselves are curated to have notes of sumptuous red fruits, warming holiday spices, and decadent sweetness. "

Meet the Makers! Steven from

"Born in Edinburgh and raised in Cumbria, I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a First Class BA Honours in Visual Communication and Animation. For the past 14 years, I have worked on and off as an illustrator and designer, but since 2023, I have now dedicated my full time to this.

Recently, I completed my 2026 illustrated calendar featuring Scottish folklore and Pagan festivals. It is a culmination of years of work, which includes research and illustrations of different myths, legends and tall tales from Scotland.
Untitled presentation (2).jpg
Typically, I work in pen and ink to create detailed work of Scottish myths, legends, folklore, as well as landscapes, whisky distilleries, portraits and isometric illustrations.

My illustration and design work has primarily featured in the Scotch whisky and drinks industry as published artwork in books, magazines, websites and bottle labels."
