Sunday Opening 🧶

We’re open tomorrow, Sunday 16th August, so why not pop by and have a nosey at what’s been arriving in the shop lately?

These lovely toories are made by Chris, who handspins local Shetland fleece before knitting each one up and finishing it with a wee band of colour using yarn from Jamieson’s Spinning.

From Shetland fleece to finished toorie, with plenty of handwork in between. ❤️

Hats of all shapes, colours and styles are arriving every day from our 80+ Shetland makers, so there really is something for almost everyone (bauble, tassel, or even horns).

Pop in, have a nosey and try a few on until you find "the one". Most are lovingly handmade using 100% pure Shetland Wool, with a selection knitted in acrylic for those who find the Shetland ‘Oo a little difficult to wear.

Warm heads, happy heads, colourful heads… we’ve got you covered! ❤️

Eldamato is delighted to welcome our newest maker, Donna, who lives on the beautiful Island of Foula.

Donna’s toories and headbands are hand knitted in pure Shetland wool using her own distinctive designs. She has a wonderful eye for colour, as you can clearly see from these lovely combinations.
