Bags of Books for Teachers

Bags of Books for Teachers We Read, Review and Recommend Quality and Inspiring Children's Books for Teachers. Welcome!

This page has been designed for Early Years and Primary Teachers to provide loads of quick and easy information on the very best books for schools (in our opinion!), and expert knowledge on books for children. We run an independent children’s bookshop in Lewes, East Sussex, which specialises in providing quality books for primary schools. We have been working with schools all over the country for

more than 20 years and love helping teachers to find the perfect books for their pupils! On our website - bags-of-books.co.uk/books-for-schools, we have compiled our recommended book lists on many different topics and themes.

On Wednesday 20th May, The National Literacy Trust’s next Go All in Together! Event is inspired by beloved children’s book Stanley’s Stick. This will be a celebration of the outdoors through reading, music and creativity aimed at Early Years and KS1.

The first half will begin with a musical performance of Stanley’s Stick, accompanied by the Northern Chamber Orchestra, which will encourage children to grow a curiosity of the world around us through storytelling.

The children will then have the chance to contribute to a special four-nation-version of Stanley’s Stick, crafted by storyteller Danyah Miller and illustrator Neil Layton. Don’t miss out on this exciting event, celebrating National Share-a-Story-Month

Sign up via the link below and remember you can order any orders of the book or any other books via Bags of Books
