At Crumble & Core, every collection begins with paint 🎨paper and a brush.
These soft pink florals 🌺 are being hand-painted in watercolour before being developed into individual motifs and, eventually, a new surface pattern collection.
I love painting and this stage of the process — building up the colour gradually, keeping the looseness of the watercolour and allowing those little imperfections to remain part of the finished design.
Original watercolour artwork → surface pattern → endless possibilities.
