Yesterday the truly lovely Megan Snyders spent the day painting the most ROARsome window for us to celebrate the publication of The Kingdom of Tigers. Winston however wasn’t so chuffed at no longer being the biggest cat in town!
This incredible new picture book carries an important message about Malaysia’s endangered harimau tigers, as well as beautifully exploring themes of family, friendship and home.

The very summery looking Ed Vere popped in today and kindly signed and doodled copies of his latest picture book, Waffle & Julius: No Hugs Please.

A brilliantly funny picture book focused on friendship and respecting each other’s differences. Waffle LOVES hugs. Julius does not! Waffles would very much like to hug his friend Julius. Julius, however, prefers other things:most notably, cat naps. But definitely not hugs. Waffles will have to wait, it won’t be so hard will it? (Yes, yes it will).

In today’s delivery this absolute beauty of a book arrived. It’s utterly fabulous. As the cover very clearly states, it’s Marvellous…and all about poo!💩
From reading this book I very quickly learnt I’m no poo expert (I am now mind)
This hilarious non-fiction book takes readers on a delightfully fragrant journey through the life of a poo, exploring the many uses for our poos, where poo goes when you flush it down the toilet and even what your p**p is trying to tell you!

Bursting with stylish, bold and playful artwork, this book is guaranteed to make both children and adults laugh. With poos that talk directly to the reader, it’s cheeky, engaging and hilariously informative – the perfect book to entertain curious kids from start to finish.
I just learnt whales have pink poo (wouldn’t that be marvellous?) and an elephant poos between 12 & 15 times a day (not so marvellous)
