Claire had a lovely day taking Penny O'Neill to two schools for an author workshop. Penny is the author and illustrator of 'The Floofs' series of books.
Thanks to the children at Leyburn Primary school, alongside some children from Askrigg Junior School for a great morning, and to the Year 1 and 2 children from Carnagill Primary School for a fabulous afternoon. You all had some wonderful ideas for your stories and we saw some great illustrations! Thanks to Penny too!

We were delighted to bring bestselling author and illustrator Rob Biddulph to schools in Catterick yesterday. The kids were treated to a drawalong with Rob and an inspiring talk about his new book " The Last Wolf". Rob read an excerpt from the book and met with reading ambassadors over lunch. Thanks to Rob for such a fabulous day, and to Sarah from Carnagill for her help with the organisation. Thanks also to Pan Macmillan and to BFBS radio for covering the event.
We've got signed copies in the shop!

We've got a busy couple of days at the Gardners Trade Show and Booksellers Association Conference. Always a great opportunity to catch up with friends, network with publishers and be inspired.
We'll be opening a little late tomorrow at 12ish to allow us to get back. See you then!
