I have paint! It's my burning secret. I also have a tired old bookcase just ready for landfill! ... and I have a clandestine plan. I can't broadcast it around here because the supply teaching police will be onto me... sending me off out to earn an honest day's money, stopping me from wrecking the house with drips and dust and brushes all over the place. Also diverting me from that burning desire to transform. So, mum's the word, but watch this space...

So it's been a while since the world changed again and my day job took over from the lovely obsession that i found for that strange time. Creativity is still my passion... I still watch with awe all of the the amazing things that other talented furniture restylers continue to pour onto Instagram and Facebook.
We'll done them... I have heaps of recommendations if you're looking...
I can still find a space for a commission which I will be delighted to dive into.

Swipe along and see how I started with a plain old Ikea cabinet that was being thrown out.
I'm in love with this refinish... I hadn't a clue what i was going to do... i just knew i needed some cupboard space... i mixed up some leftover remnants of fusion and this colour popped up, i found a gorgeous fabric that I had stored away forever ago and these handles came at a really happy price from Amazon.
I wish this spare bedroom wasn't so teensy ... i can't get a full shot but i think you get the idea.
Do you have something like this? A really practical piece but you're tired of its look... in a blink it can be transformed into something brand spanking new. No need for high street prices!
