Each Burman Bear, Pocket, and Oddling begins as a spark of feeling — a wish to bring warmth, tenderness, and a sense of belonging into the world. I hope you enjoy your visit and come back often to see the new bears as they are added to the site. I am a soft figure sculptor and fine artist and design, create and hand craft all the bears and characters, which are collectible items

Tiny Peggy Pumpkin 3" was born last yesterday — a glowing little ember of autumn joy.
Today she toddles off to , where her Boo Ghostie friends are already rustling with excitement.
She’s all pumpkin‑spice courage and ready to join their mischief and brighten every heart she meets.

Saffron, soft and sunlit, and Beatrix, bright‑eyed and brave — both full of that newborn wonder that makes the shelves feel like a story waiting to unfold.
They’re in the shop now, fluttering with excitement, ready to find the one they belong to.

Grace arrived on a soft breath of morning light. That quiet‑hearted presence who doesn’t need to announce herself because her gentleness does all the speaking. There’s something beautifully primitive about her, as if she’s stepped out of an older kindness, carrying it forward for anyone who needs it.In the shop today, she won’t just be seen… she’ll be felt.

There’s something about a birth-day in the studio.  The soft hush, the careful stitches, the pause and listen as if the creature is telling you who she wants to be. Olivia definitely came through with a clear voice.   Bright, tender, a little mischievous, and absolutely ready for her first adventure. Tomorrow, when she goes to the shop, she’ll carry that energy with her. A small beacon of belonging on the shelf, waiting for the person who recognises her spark. Enjoy x
