Did it!!! Sorry! I know it’s early, but I almost feel like I’m behind already! 😂

Anyway… our Christmas wreath workshop dates are officially out there!

If you’d like to join me to make your very own Christmas door wreath, you can book your place through my website.

It’ll be fun, festive and guaranteed to get you right in the mood for Christmas!

This beauty was packed full of gorgeous flowers and wrapped in white and brown spotty kraft paper with a biodegradable water bubble to keep it fresh. So no cellophane which makes it a little kinder to the planet. Every little helps!

Right… Halloween is creeping up, so I thought it was only right we had a little wreath-making fun!

Come and spend a couple of hours making your own Halloween wreath with me. There'll be lots of lovely autumnal bits, dried flowers, foliage and of course a few spooky touches. 🖤

Don't worry if you've never made a wreath before — I'll show you what to do. And if you're thinking “I'm not very crafty”… honestly, that's what everyone says!

After lots of thought, we’ve now partnered with Interflora — and we’re really excited about what this means for our customers.

First things first… The Brightest Bloom isn’t changing.

We’re still your local, independent florist. It’s still me behind the flowers, still the same care and attention going into every bouquet, and still the same focus on beautiful, seasonal flowers and creating something that feels personal to the person receiving it.

What the partnership does give us is more options.

It means if you’re ordering flowers for someone locally, you can still order directly from The Brightest Bloom as you always have. But if you’ve got a friend or family member living further away, we can now help with that too.

It also gives our customers access to a wider range of gifting options and the convenience of being able to send flowers to more places — without losing that local florist connection.

And for us, it means being able to grow the business while still staying true to what The Brightest Bloom is all about.

Independent doesn’t mean doing everything alone.
So, whilst you might start seeing the Interflora name alongside ours, behind the scenes it’s still very much The Brightest Bloom — local, personal and created with care.

It's not just a flower delivery… it's part of the service.

There's buttonholes to pin, corsages to fit, bouquets to check, stems to recut, vases to fill and sometimes… a little flower emergency to sort out!

I always carry spares because you just never know what might happen once the flowers leave the van!

Even down to finding a pen for the bride to write cards for the thankyou bouquets.

It's all those little things that make up the job — and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Well, what a week!

After 3 large funerals and this beautiful wedding, my job is now complete… well, for this week anyway!

I made Harriet’s bouquet late last night, but let’s just say I wasn’t looking my best after the week I’d had! So the filming had to wait until this morning when I looked a little more human.

This was Harriet’s bouquet for her autumn-themed wedding and what a wedding it was! 🤎

So beautiful, and I absolutely loved creating these flowers for her.

The best part of doing wedding flowers? Seeing them with the couple they were made for. There’s just something about see...
