This edition of Adam Bede by George Eliot is as beautiful as it looks! Firmly bound, vibrant boards and in lovely clean condition throughout. It really is a joy to hold.

Have you read it? I’m sorry to say it’s still on my ‘to read’ list. Of George Eliot’s novels I’ve read Middlemarch, The Mill on the Floss and Silas Marner, but not Adam Bede….yet!

This beauty is now available to buy on my website ❤️

Common Wayside Flowers by Thomas Miller, published in 1860 and beautifully illustrated by Birket Foster. This binding is one of my favourites and it is a rare find in such lovely condition. I’ll add some pictures of the illustrations to my story shortly - they are simply stunning! 🧡

“Prejudices, it is well known, are most difficult to eradicate from the heart whose soil has never been loosened or fertilised by education: they grow there, firm as weeds among stone.”

- Charlotte Bronte - Jane Eyre

This beautiful edition of Jane Eyre, published by Walter Scott Ltd c.1896 is now available on my website.❤️

Coming soon…. this wonderful selection of poetry books, half leather bound in a range of autumnal colours, with complimentary marbled boards and matching edges. The collection includes the works of Shelley, Milton, Cowper, Burns and more. I’ll be adding them to my website at the weekend. 💗

Hi folks, my current offer of 25% off ends tonight at midnight. The clearance sale that I’ve been running for the past few months will continue to have a space on my website, but I will not be adding to it any more. The excess stock that I’ve been working through has almost cleared and I am starting to focus solely on building a more curated collection, as mentioned in various posts over the last few months.

The 25% off applies to my whole collection until midnight, so it’s a really good time to snag a gift for your bookish family and friends! 💗

I know, it’s not even Halloween! But is it ever too early to share a particularly beautiful edition of A Christmas Carol? ✨

(I didn’t add Christmas music to my post….thought that might be pushing my luck 😂)
