My latest obsession is learning about making brooms. I have gone down the YT tutorial rabbit hole and have enjoyed making a couple experimental ones from natural materials found near me. Some trimmings from my Japanese maple and some wild grasses. Would love to hear what you think!

Hello and welcome to this exciting new adventure! I hope you will all enjoy this crazy new venture of mine! Though it isn't really all that new, is it? Wild Magick & Apothecary came about because I am tired of niching - everyone always tells you to focus on one thing, become a specialist. And that is what I have always done - focused on just one thing at a time - photography, then book making. But I am not that kind of person. I love to do so many things. But in all those many things I have always loved to do, there has been a common thread: storytelling, nature, sustainability, upcycling, and a hint of magick.
And so here we are, no more niching, just me, as I am, creating and selling the things I love, in line with the cycle of the seasons, of my creativity, and my passions.
This is just beginning, and I am hoping to make it grow - I will be testing the waters this weekend at the Rauceby Summer Solstice at the Village Hall on Sunday. And then, we see how we grow. I'm taking it slowly, letting it take root, waiting for it to bloom when the time is right. In the meantime, here are a few pictures of some of the things I will be bringing with me to the market!
