First up, Emma Pass.

Emma's most recent novel is The Girl from Norway, a gripping and heartbreaking WW2 romance, about a woman escaping Nazi-occupied Norway and finding safety in the Shetland Islands.

Emma grew up in Surrey and has been making up stories for as long as she can remember. She is now a full-time writer, creative writing teacher, editor and mentor.
Emma lives in Derbyshire with her artist husband and a very naughty retired racing greyhound called Auburn. When shes not writing she loves to read and knit (often at the same time).

Did this summer's solar eclipse inspire you to learn more about astronomy and our universe?
Then you need to come along to this Lincoln Book Festival event, featuring Emma Chapman!

Emma is an award-winning radio astronomer based at the University of Nottingham, and a Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin research fellow. Her first book, First Light, was based on her groundbreaking research into the era of the first stars.
She'll be here on Saturday 3rd October, talking about her latest book, Radio Universe - an electrifying voyage through the cosmos using one of the most powerful, yet overlooked, tools in science: the radio wave.
