As I sit having my breakfast before we open, I’m thinking about the amount of people that have pulled faces when talking about me selling Tilly’s.
Because of the U-turn I had in January.

And I get it!

But this time it’s time for me to go 100%. And it’s bittersweet as we had our best year last year with quite the growth in the books compared to years before. This year is marking to be the same too.
So my hard work finally reflected in the figures.

I am ready to step into my new chapter. I think 4.5 years at something which wasn’t ever a dream of mine, is a pretty good stick.

I want to leave on a high whilst the business does well. Not many can say that about hospitality places these days.

So please take me seriously this time. I know I’m the least serious person, but it’s time to go.

What will I do after Tilly’s?

What I said I’d do in January!

Only this time, there’s no U-turn. I think people aren’t taking me seriously this time because of January 😵‍💫.

I’m not starting from scratch. Tilly’s has given me my cakes and catering platform, I’ve done my spiritual work for 7 years, and I have pet portrait orders lined up too 🥹.

Everything I feel that makes me really me.

Tilly’s has given me so so much, and made me realise who I am and what I can achieve.

It’s also made me realise the importance of doing what genuinely makes my heart happy.

Coffee shop ownership was never a dream of mine at all. I kind of fell into it, and 4.5 years later, I’ve given it a blummin good shot and grown the shop to what it is now.

I am ready to pour my cup back into me. I am ready to really do the things that bring me my own joy.

It really has been such a journey and very character building!
I’m so proud of Tilly’s and grateful for everyone and everything I’ve experienced.

I am ready to go. I know it in my soul now, and I am going with so much love and pride to what has been created.

I am still waiting for a buyer to come and take the baton, so please let people know we are still for sale 🌸❤️
