Sarah Bennett Illustration has joined us, and honestly… we’re rather smitten! 💙

Sarah is a local printmaker and illustrator from Caistor, she drives a Triumph (obviously this is very important information), and she has brought along a fabulous collection of her gorgeous lino prints.

Now, I’m not sure whether shopkeepers are allowed to have favourites… but I’m going to risk it!

Meet my favourite: The Little Mermaid

Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but it has whisked me straight back to my lovely solo trip to Copenhagen last summer. So basically, I’m emotionally attached to a lino print now.

I was going to write a long, wholesome post about my lovely family holiday… because apparently I’ve had TWO family holidays in two weeks.

Living in the UK while my family are all in Finland means family time is precious — and this summer we managed to meet up both here AND in Spain!

Obviously, I was going to share the family drama too. The fiercely competitive games of Frustration (50p from Pre-Loved, and quite possibly my daughter’s favourite birthday present because SHE KEPT WINNING!). Me and my sister pushing each other into the pool. The usual wholesome family bonding.

BUT…

It’s Lincoln Pride this Saturday, so we’ve ditched the holiday nostalgia and gone FULL RAINBOW in the shop window! 🌈

And inside? The shop is absolutely BURSTING with new treasures. New sellers, new stock, gorgeous handmade goodies and loads of preloved finds.

I could photograph every single new seller unit and every new product… but Instagram would probably put me on the naughty step again for spamming your feed.

So you’ll just have to come in and explore it all for yourselves.

Tell us you’re easily distracted without telling us you’re easily distracted…

Jane from Littleshedofcrafts should’ve been getting ready for tomorrow’s craft fair… but instead she popped in for a quick restock.

A “quick restock” somehow turned into a full-on shelf makeover. Because obviously that’s what happens when you’ve already got 100 other jobs on your to-do list!

Jane’s taken advantage of our BOGOFF shelf offer – rent a high shelf and get a top shelf FREE for 3 months – and after having two top shelves for a while, it was definitely time to shake things up!

The result? A gorgeous new display bursting with handmade treasures. And… if you’ve been eyeing up a space in the shop, you’re in luck! There’s a similar space available to rent right next to Jane’s two shelves, so you could be neighbours.

Pop into the shop to have a browse, or if you’re heading to Cherry Willingham Craft Fair tomorrow, make sure you stop by and say hello to Jane. She’ll have plenty of beautiful handmade goodies with her!

NEW ARTWORK HAS ARRIVED!

We’re delighted to welcome a stunning new collection of original artwork by Dani Winder to the shop.

Growing up in the rugged countryside of North Derbyshire before living in Manchester, Newcastle and London, Dani eventually found his way to Lincoln, where he now happily calls home. Since retiring from a career in architecture, he’s been able to dedicate more time to his lifelong passion for art and illustration.

Dani’s paintings beautifully capture the unique character of the Lincolnshire landscape. Inspired by its vast skies, endless horizons, ever-changing light and the striking geometry of fields, footpaths, hedgerows and crops, his work celebrates a landscape that feels welcoming, peaceful and full of quiet beauty.

Every painting is an original and comes with its own unique title and catalogue number. Turn the artwork over and you’ll discover an extra special detail – the precise map reference of the exact spot where Dani stood while creating that scene, allowing you to visit the very place that inspired the painting.

Before I even had a couple of days off, the shop decided to have a complete glow-up without me!
Every shelf has been restocked, every corner has something new, and honestly… I don’t know where to look first.

The only problem? I’m supposed to be SELLING, not shopping… yet somehow I’ve already started my own little “must-have” pile.

Don’t panic though… I haven’t bought it all!
There’s still plenty waiting for you, and with new treasures arriving EVERY HOUR, you never know what you’ll discover next.
