The last couple of weeks have been a tad tough with Endometriosis treatment. I'm not one for talking publicly on my business socials about this sort of thing, but it's important that it's spoken about!
I'm not out the other side of it yet, but hoping it might get easier soon.

The evening sunshine has been beautiful to look at whilst cutting flowers and shining through my workshop window.
Between the rough parts, I've managed to get some weddings done and a few rides with the girls in the forest 🌲

Thanks to all the brides I'm working with (pressed and dried flowers) who have been patient with me working a bit sporadically recently.

Endometriosis is such an arse. And chemical menopause is not for the weak! Hormones are so unfun! 😳

The most gorgeous autumnal bridal bouquet which will be leaving the workshop next week.

I really loved making this, the dahlias really add a different texture to it.

This has been a long time coming 🌱
With hours and hours of perfecting my craft and finding what really works (and what doesn't!)
I've finally released a small collection of finished necklaces.

These feature homegrown flowers and foliage, with the odd piece of lichen that has blown from a tree in blowy Cornish storms.
These are delicately pressed between two pieces of glass, then soldered together with lead free tin.
They are then finished with a 16" recycled 925 sterling silver chain. Ready to be worn and treasured 🌱

Complete in it's own little box, with a care card and meanings behind those gorgeous little pieces of nature that have been captured in a moment and preserved.

They will be added to the website in due course. But in the meantime, I'll be dropping some to Craftmongers on Saturday 🥰

I am really excited to mention that my work can now be found at Craftmongers.
The most magical shop full of talented makers work, set in the middle of the woods 🌲
I have always admired this gorgeous shop! We now have one down in Cornwall at Stable Art, near Cardinham woods, as well as Ashburton 🌱

Very greatful to Jodi Lou Parkin for taking my work on. It slots nicely into your gorgeous collection of treasures.

Highly recommend a visit, as well as a piece of cake from the cafe. You won't be disappointed 🥰

Where do I get my inspiration from?

The woods! If I'm not walking there, I'm riding there. And always with my lovely Nigel.
I absolutely love the peace, the smells and the nature.
Every single time I go there (which is most days!) I see something different and that makes me stop in my tracks.

This mornings walk was a beauty. Pea soup fog and autumnal feels!
Still very mild, but the changing of seasons is my favourite. Apart from January season, whatever that is 🫣

Rain coming tonight... Can't wait for my water tanks to fill up!

A stunning venue that suited their vibe so well!

"After shopping around, we decided to go with Ruth at Roots & Wild to provide the dried flowers for our wedding at Polhawn Fort. We had a very specific look in mind and sent lots of mood boards Ruth's way!

The whole process was brilliant from start to finish. We had several video calls to discuss our ideas, and Ruth really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted.

She completely exceeded our expectations. Ruth created my stunning bridal bouquet, beautiful pew markers for the church, two gorgeous milk churn arrangements for outside the church, and floral displays for the fireplace at the venue. Everything was perfectly in keeping with our vision and looked even better than we had imagined.
