Emily's flowers are first in the press this morning. 🤌
They arrived looking a bit thirsty yesterday, so they had a nice cool night in the kitchen with some clean fresh water.
They perked up nicely!

Today's job is making 11 of these wreath bases for a wedding in September.

Why do I do it without floral foam and make my life more difficult?
Because I try to be a good human by not polluting our ocean and landfill with more plastic based products.

Until there's a suitable alternative, I'll continue to make different alternatives to avoid contributing to plastic pollution.

Since coming back from Rock Oyster, I have taken it a little easier in my work schedule..
My body and brain were telling me to slow down and I actually listened to it this time. I've been so busy with weddings and shows that I didn't give myself enough time to breathe, so had to remind myself how to have a break!

Last few commissions are posting out tomorrow. You guys have kept me busy with website orders as well, so thank you! 😘

I did enjoy some really cool mornings on the ponies last week, but we have gone back to sticky and hot again which is a bit tedious!
Water is extremely sparse now at the field with the flowers and horses. It's becoming quite the slog...

I'm really ready for autumn now...
