I'll be attending the 80's festival at Littleborough Cricket Club, so Jess will be covering for me.

Therefore, if you'd like any personalised balloons for next Saturday, please order by Friday lunchtime so I can create the vinyl ready.

The balloon arch we installed yesterday morning is still going strong despite the weather last night.

This is because we only use high-quality latex for our displays 🤩🤩.

Will keep an eye out to see how long it'll last before any of the balloons deflate 👀👀

Good morning

It's been a busy start to the day with this large installation at the Quick Basket shop, which is opening later today.

It's taken me a little longer than anticipated, so I've just nipped home to grab some breakfast, which means I'll be opening at the ever so slightly later time of 10.15-10.30am

Good evening

Please note the shop will be opening at the slightly later time of 11.30am tomorrow.

We're also running low on helium until we get a delivery, which is usually between 12.30pm and 2.00pm on Thursdays, so we will be prioritising pre-ordered balloons over walk-in requests until we have a tank delivered.

Good morning

Hope you are managing to cope again with this heatwave we've been experiencing this week.

Unfortunately, as you can see, our England balloon display has taken a battering from the sun shining through the shop window all day yesterday....let's hope this isn't an omen for our performance on Saturday 😲🤣!!

They are looking rather sad at the moment but hoping to fix them after the match on Saturday, if we win.

With this current heat, there's every chance if we replace the blue latex they could pop again as is normal with darker colours in extreme heat.

So, just a reminder, if you're collecting balloons today or tomorrow, please take care when transporting and then storing them afterwards.

Please have your aircon on in your car, don't leave them for longer than necessary in the bags or car and not in direct sunlight as they could pop as helium expands in the heat and the latex will oxidise much more quickly than normal.

We will not be held accountable for any balloons that pop or deflate quicker than usual once they have left the shop.
