Over the past few months life has changed in ways I’m still finding my feet with. As many of you know, Handmade By Wendy has always been a small, lovingly run business — and while the shop has been able to sustain itself, it was never meant to carry the full weight of a household.
I’ve recently had to make some difficult adjustments, including reducing my opening hours. This isn’t because I’m stepping back — it’s because I’m working harder than ever behind the scenes. With the shop closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, I can focus on admin, making stock, and building my new website so I can keep this little business going.
I’m still grieving, still navigating a new reality, and doing my best each day. Your support, patience, and understanding mean more than you know. Handmade By Wendy is my heart, and I’m doing everything I can to keep it here in our community.
I hope you’ll understand why these changes are necessary. Your support truly matters — every visit, every purchase, every kind word. I don’t want to lose this little shop that means so much to me.
