Littlehampton D-Day 80th Anniversary Beacon Lighting

Join us on Littlehampton Promenade tomorrow evening (Thursday 6 June) as we light the Beacon to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

To kickstart the event, Littlehampton Sea Cadets will perform at 20:40 outside the seafront kiosks before the Mayor of Littlehampton lights the Beacon at 21:15 near the Stage by the Sea.

Refreshments will be available from the seafront kiosks.

Littlehampton Museum has a new exhibit, exploring Littlehampton’s involvement in the preparations for D-Day. Entitled “D Day 80 Littlehampton” it will run until the end of July.
