Had a bit of a photo opportunity after a deep clean on the TOWNSEND HEDGEHOPPER last night, moody dark feel but the greens haven't shown up properly due to low light but she GLOWS when it's daytime!

Well whilst the KHS is still in surgery for the stuck post (nearly dissolved out) I just had to have something to work on so this fitted the bill. It ticks the unusual box alright, early research shows it's possibly an early SIMPLON SPECTRUM as this was the Austrian brands TANGE frame from the very early 90s. Hard to pin down a date or exact model online so if there's any obscure small Austrian 90s brand MTB experts out there I'm all ears .... 😎

Loooove this bike!! There's another project waiting in the wings, all will be revealed soon but for now this beast has won me over! Smooth as glass on the road, brilliant downhill !!

Marmite bike time. This local collection for myself as a winter hack bike has really won a place in my heart. A quick tyre change to something more age appropriate and a few test spots for cleaning and I've already plans involving green ODI grip and a certain cosmic trail bag! After the winter all I have to do is weight it in at the yard to get my money back 😂...

Green/blue or blue/green whichever way you like but in reality a beautifully worn, tear free, corners intact faded leather SAN MARCO ROLLS 1987 to add to the supposedly shrinking collection ... 💙 💚
