Thanks to everyone who came down the shop today - it was a blast as always. Sorry about the lack of Jaffa cakes, but we did discover that ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’ contains no satanic messages when played backwards.

It was my birthday today and I got this so now I’m a sad old man I thought it about time I post a gratuitous brick pic.

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine. We’re open next Sat 11-5 as usual. Loads of new stock and hopefully the left channel on the TT will be fixed.

This plus loads of new stock going out today. Plus, I just bought this Fostex recorder thingy which plays cds backwards. Pop in and we’ll eat Jaffa cakes and find hidden messages - probably about Jaffa cakes, or satan.

Holy sacred cow!

It’s rare event at the shop that a record is so intolerably bad there’s not even any comic relief to make it bearable.

This version of Alabama Song is the worst song I’ve played in the shop - by a country mile.

If you have unwanted guests you want to get rid of then playing them this record will have them packing their bags quicker than you can say ‘Berlin Trilogy’.

Tin Machine is by far Bowie’s best effort as well. There, I said it.

Every now and again a collection comes in that has been cared for with the love and attention of museum curator.

This is not one of those occasions.

Battered and mutilated sleeves, dubious stains and less than pleasant odours means these are all going out rather cheap.

All cleaned and to be fair all the vinyl is VG upwards. So pop down and grab a post-punk bargain.
