🪵🔥 We are constantly trying to improve our log drying process and so this week we added a GlenFarrow UK Ltd Woodchip Auto-Feed Unit to our biomass boiler. This impressive piece of kit will allow us to maintain a constant temperature in the boiler and kilns of around 75 degrees 🔥!! In return we can reduce drying times and keep our customers fully stocked with Ready to Burn firewood 💪🪵🔥!!

🪵🔥 Just a little bit about what we do at Lumberjack Logs…

🪵 At Lumberjack Logs we process and kiln dry all of our British grown wood on-site.
🪵 We use one of our two log processor machines to cut lengths of timber into the standard length / diameter of logs.
🪵 Once cut and in a crate, we then move the logs to one of our two log drying kilns. These kilns are heated by a large biomass boiler and can dry logs at a temperature of 80 degrees in 5-7 days.
🪵 After the logs have been kiln dried they are ready to be either netted, bagged into a barrow or bulk bag, or loaded for our cubic metre loads.

🔥 We feel it is important to oversee the whole process, it sets us apart from other suppliers and allows us to be confident in the quality of our firewood 🔥
