we are happy to announce that we are now offering a tape cleaning service at the stall! after a trial with a couple of our Discord members, we feel confident enough to deliver a good result at just £2 a tape, and will be rolling it out from this Friday! the results speak for themselves, just take a look!
picture this: you’ve got the nostalgia bug. you’ve headed up to yer nan’s loft to see if there’s any goods up there, and jackpot, there’s a VCR, a CRT and a box of videos. you open it up and someone didn’t look after them. Jurassic Park? moldy. Alien? a few specks here and there. A Nightmare On Elm Street? cakes in nightmares. the usual response would be to chuck the lot, but no more!
right now, it’s a very DIY setup using an old Panasonic VCR, isopropyl alcohol and homemade tools to clean and maintain tapes, but we are hoping to save up to get a proper machine from a very reputable dude in the USA. we can only do that with your business, so DM us to sort out a service today!
