Some stories can never fit inside a suitcase.
We were deeply honoured to be invited by Abdullrhman Hassona | ุญูุณููููุฉ to take part in the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, a Photography and video Exhibition at the University of Liverpool Liverpool John Moores University School of Arts, where we had the opportunity to share our journey as Latin American immigrants in the UK.
Stories, Real people, Refugees and immigrants who were forced to leave behind their HOMES, families, careers, and everything they once knew, hoping for the chance to rebuild their lives in safety.
Behind every face is a story of loss, resilience, courage, and hope. These photographs are not asking for sympathy. They are asking to be seen, to be heard, and to remind us that every person carries a story.
As Latin Americans, we are proud that our voices are part of this exhibition alongside artists from different cultures. Our journeys may be different, but our hope is the same: to find a place where we can begin again: A HOME.
Thank you to everyone who made this exhibition possible and to those who believe that art can build bridges, spark conversations, and give a voice to stories that deserve to be told.
