At Write Blend, we, like so many others, were saddened to hear of the death of the amazing Dolly Parton. Through her Imagination Library, an endeavour inspired by her father's illiteracy, she got books into the hands of over 850,000 children across the world per month. As a bookshop, we understand and support the need to get children reading. Perhaps everyone could and make an extra effort to encourage children to read. We can't get anywhere near what Dolly did, but for the next week, for every children's book you buy, we will give you a voucher to claim a free £5.00 book token which you can use towards your next purchase. That's one voucher for every book, not every transaction. You buy three books, for example, you get three vouchers. It's the least we can do.
