The part of this review that got me wasn’t the five stars.

It was two little words: 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀.

“Fantastic item as always! The quality is beautiful and the little touches in the parcel are thoughtful.”

That little phrase told me this wasn’t the first time she’d chosen CraftyBabs — she’d been happy with a previous order and decided to come back again.
Knowing someone trusted what I make enough to choose CraftyBabs another time genuinely means a lot to me. 💕

And I loved that she noticed the little touches in the parcel too, because those details matter to me just as much as the finished name.

When you’re buying from a handmade business online, what makes you feel confident enough to order — reviews, seeing the making process, or something else?

It’s so easy to save beautiful children’s rooms and start thinking everything needs to match — the bedding, the walls, the storage, the pictures, every little colour.

But I think it’s much easier when you start with the child instead.

What colours do they love? What are they into right now? What makes them smile?

Add their name, their favourite things and a few details that feel personal, and let the room grow around them.

Because the goal doesn’t have to be a perfectly coordinated room. It can simply be a room where your child feels happy, comfortable and completely at home.

And yes… they still have to tidy it occasionally. 😂

Another birthday party and no idea what to buy? 😅

A knitted-wire name sign is made around them: their own name, colours they love, and something they won’t quickly grow out of when the latest toy phase passes.

Freya’s only request when we decorated this wall was that she could still do her handstands. 😅 So we worked around that, and she got a wall that still feels completely hers.
