Many of you know that I am heavily involved in organising this years festival, we appreciate times are tough for businesses out there, we can't afford to sponsor but instead we have put our time and energy into running the Llandovery Sheep Festival. I learnt so much from Rachel it would be sad for it not to happen this year, we are all hopeful and every little helps so if you can help we would appreciate it but if like us you can't manage to please consider helping out on the day and welcoming people to the town as 'shepherd', lets make 2026 a baaaaa-rilliant festival year x

This weeks Bear on the Square is.......Prys, a very busy bear indeed.

Prys is never seen without their favourite blue jumper and the little orange pocket stitched to the front. Nobody knows exactly what's inside it because Prys changes the contents almost every day.

Sometimes it's a shiny conker, sometimes a lucky pebble from the River Towy, and sometimes a list of adventures yet to be had. Prys loves exploring hidden corners of Llandovery and keeping an eye out for things other people miss.

They have a knack for finding lost things and returning them to their owners. In fact, many people believe that if you've misplaced something important, Prys might already know where it is.

Prys enjoys exploring new places and secret pathways and solving little mysteries while finding lost treasures. What they don't like though is closed doors that hide interesting places and giving up when a puzzle isn't solved straight away.

One thing is certain Prys won't reveal is what's in the pocket today!

Prys is looking for a curious family who enjoys adventures, whether that's exploring the countryside, hunting for treasure on the beach, or discovering a new favourite book.

They'd love a home with a special shelf for keepsakes, a pocket full of dreams, and people who believe every day should contain at least one small adventure. So if that sounds like you get out hunting for Prys tomorrow morning! If you get lucky and find them, take a selfie and share to Facebook and Instagram tag in and , good luck!
