There seems to be a spiteful rumour doing the rounds that Verzon Books is closing.
Nothing could be further from the truth..
Please disregard this..
We have just taken in a wonderful supply of jewellery for the Ladies..

I attended a talk last night at the Metropole, organised by Radnorshire Wildlife Trust.
The talk was by Merlin Hanbury-Tension, author of Our Oaken Bones.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and have started reading the book.
We have copies available in the shop, pop in and grab your copy.

29 years ago today, my mum took a leap of faith and opened the doors to our bookshop.

What started as a brave decision has become so much more than just a shop — it’s been a place of stories, conversations, friendships, and community.

We feel incredibly lucky to have met so many wonderful customers over the years — some who have been with us from the very beginning, and many new faces who continue to support us today.

Independent shops like ours rely on local support, and every visit, every purchase, and every recommendation truly means the world to us.

Thank you for being part of our journey — here’s to many more chapters to come 📚✨
