With a distinctive style, David Shrigley’s work is best known for its ironic comments on everyday situations and human interactions.

David’s drawings are often accompanied with his deadpan humour. Reoccurring themes and random musings are found throughout his work, often capturing childlike views of the world.

Miss Marple Makes is the brainchild of Cath Marple Owen. Based in the Ogwen Valley, Cath creates unique porcelain jewellery and decorations, printing into the clay with vintage typesets before firing and glazing each piece. The works are then hand-painted with vibrant underglaze colours. Cath is greatly influenced both by her Scandinavian roots and 50s/60s graphics.

Handcrafted from preloved copies of the classic Welsh children’s book ‘Tomos Caradog’, Jennifer Collier has cut and stitched pages from the book to create a charming decorative jug. She incorporates the previous life of the book as a part of the design, with marks, creases and foxing all adding to the charm.

Tomos Caradog was written by Mary Vaughan Jones and illustrated by Rowena Wyn Jones and first published in 1969. Part of a graded reading series by Cymdeithas Lyfrau Ceredigion it helped many children learn Welsh.

Ysgrifennwyd Tomos Caradog gan Mary Vaughan Jones a’i ddarlunio gan Rowena Wyn Jones a’i gyhoeddi gyntaf ym 1969. Fel rhan o gyfres ddarllen graddol gan Gymdeithas Lyfrau Ceredigion, fe helpodd lawer o blant i ddysgu Cymraeg.

Justine Holdsworth has been working with willow for over 15 years, transforming simple willow branches into functional and decorative objects. Through The Workshop, Justine has created a space to share the meditative joy of traditional crafting, inviting people to reconnect with themselves through the process of making by hand.

The willow Justine uses is sustainably harvested, sorted, and graded by hand. Working with natural materials, Justine honours both the traditional craft techniques and our responsibility to the environment that provides our creative medium.

Mountain Eco Studio

Mountain Eco Studio is run by Fiona Palmer from her mountain shepherd’s hut studio in Bethesda. She is constantly inspired by the beauty of the natural world surrounding her in Eryri National Park.

Her work is formed sustainably from the leaves, berries and wild flowers that grow in the mountain hedgerows, forests and in her own dyers garden. Each piece Fiona dyes is totally unique, the depth of colour and pattern are determined by the plant, whether it is young or mature, and if it is picked in Spring, Summer or Autumn.

Natalie Lea Owen creates colourful illustrated greetings cards, art prints and jewellery from her home studio in Chichester.

Drawing inspiration from nature and vintage florals, each jewellery design begins as a hand-drawn illustration which is digitally printed onto acrylic, this is then laser cut in the UK and hand assembled by Natalie.
