Not so creative today. So here's something I made for my own use last week.

Meet Karl: upcyclrd from off cuts of wire mesh, 7 rolls of twine, a little wool, a Mason jar and a cheap electrical part from ebay.

He was originally for my desk but I fear he may be a tad on the large side...

So... I've been scrambling around searching for the USB with all the backed up data from the website... to no avail.
So photos of current stock will still be uploaded to FB, but it will take a liiiiiiittle longer than originally anticipated.

On the flip side- I've "bagged" myself a new commission for the larger of the upcycled Jean-bags- my client saw my current prototype that I've been testing and they asked where they could get one! Just so happens I know the company who make them... ;-)

Thus begins the search for the right textiles and old jeans...

The eldest rocking her mask.
These masks are reusable and washable.
Each mask comes ready to use, with a supply of filter inserts.
PM me for orders.

Directions:
Once used, wash the mask as you would your usual clothing. Allow to dry.
Then- soak the mask in salt water (table salt is preferred) as this damages the RNA of the virus rendering it inert.
Air dry.
Reuse.

Mask needs washing ideally efter every use, or if you're working long shifts, replace with a fresh mask when it feels damp. Take home and wash as usual, then soak in salt water and air dry.

Well it's gone 2am but i think i may have finally sussed the design for a mask-
It will cover an N95 mask- apparently this will prolong the life of the N95.

THIS IS NOT AN N95

BUT it IS washable and reusable. There is an insert for additional filtration, but I am still researching the best type of filter that won't compromise breathability.

Took all day as my Singer was chewing up all the thread. Fixed now... i hope...

Additional- if anyone wants a mask making, i am happy to help, but I'm low on cotton- the mask below uses 8" x 24" fabric. If you can provide the cotton, i can make it into a mask.

Non Covid19 related:
But due to a bad back I've been unable to be my usual productive self and as such, have no new items for sale. However, I do have various previously made accessories in stock and I'm hoping to have a play with some mask ideas. (Pending more reserach into the exact requirements for this).
