What a perfect Sunday. Started with hymns and birdsong on my walk to the bookshop, followed by a day of friendship, laughter & booktalk at the shop. Topped off with a wonderful night at Sarah Persson’s (here reading) Poetry & Pints. Heaven is a place on earth.

What a fantastic night with the most amazing company: Ben Wildsmith- Guitar/Vocals and Crystal Jeans, chatting about their unputdownable new books ‘Whose Song to Sing’ and ‘Blueprints,’ followed by a superb performance from Ben on guitar and vocals. It really doesn’t get much better than this!
