A Note About Our New Prices & How We’re Moving Forward
As promised here is the update about the Tidal Gifts range and the changes we’ve regrettably been forced into moving forwards.
When we first started selling these pieces around six years ago, prices were much lower and we were able to keep prices low for a number of seasons. But since then, the cost of materials, production and postage has gone up significantly, it seems like everything has! Our suppliers — whose quality we really believe in — have raised their prices, and for us to continue offering these products in a way that’s fair and sustainable, we will have to do the same.
Another big change is how we manage stock. Last time, we carried large volumes of items to have ready at the shop, but it quickly became overwhelming and hard to manage. That’s why most items will now be available via pre-order — for collection at the shop or to be posted out afterwards. This will help us keep things smoother behind the scenes and ensure we’re not holding onto stock that might not be needed. There may be some small numbers of stock in the shop but this can’t be guaranteed.
We absolutely understand that the new pricing might not work for everyone — and we truly wish we didn’t have to raise them. But this is the only way to continue offering Tidal Gifts in a way that works long term.
