I wanted to share something about my Jelvia: Not Human series.

Those books were originally written and published under the name T E Kessler. They’ve been out in the world for a while now, and some of you have read them, supported them, and stuck with the story. I’m genuinely grateful for that.

Over time, though, I realised the series wasn’t quite sitting where I wanted it to. The heart of the story is still exactly the same, but the way it was presented didn’t fully reflect what I was trying to do with it.

So I’ve gone back and started again.

I’m rewriting the series, tightening it, and bringing the focus more in line with what the story really is. And when it’s ready, I’ll be relaunching it under my own name, Louise Wise.

It does mean a fresh start in many ways, which is both daunting and exciting. But it also feels like the right time to bring everything together and have these books sit alongside my other work.

If you’ve already read Jelvia: Not Human, thank you for being part of its journey. And if you haven’t, I’m looking forward to sharing this new version with you when it’s ready.
