Good afternoon! 😊

Well...after 4 years in the making, I finally got to meet the lovely Charlie from Chocist in person today! ❤️

We spent the day in Reading having a good mooch around the shops...although she probably hates me now. 🤣 She even tried talking me into getting another tattoo...she's a terrible influence! 🤪 Don't worry, I didn't get one...but I have decided what I want for my next tattoo.

We stopped for a pub lunch, carried on "just having a quick look"... which, as we all know, is the biggest lie ever told. 😂 Before we knew it, it was time to head home.

The funniest part? The only thing I bought for myself was lunch. Everything else was for Dakota! 🤦‍♀️ How does that even happen when she wasn't even there? I swear mums have some sort of invisible "Buy it for your child" setting that automatically switches on the moment we enter a shop! 🤣

I'm now sat on the train home sampling Charlie's new egg and nut free jammies... and they're absolutely delicious! 😍 Honestly, you wouldn't know the difference from the originals.

Days like today remind me that one of the best things about running a small business isn't just making and selling products – it's the genuine friendships that blossom through networking with other amazing small business owners. I'm so grateful for the people this journey has brought into my life. ❤️

🚨 Desperate times call for desperate measures... 🚨

I've looked at my sales figures and... well... let's just say my calculator asked if I wanted to cry. 🤣

I've considered my options...

❌ Get a second job... I already have one.
❌ Win the lottery... got to actually buy a ticket first.
❌ OnlyFans... absolutely not.
❌ FeetFinder... just ask the podiatrists I work with. They've seen my feet... and trust me, nobody is paying good money for those! 🤣🦶

So that leaves me with one option...

Just want to give a shout-out to Lottie over at Doodle & Daisy Creative Studio.

I've ordered from Lottie before and have never been disappointed so when I had an idea for something I reached out to see if she could help.

I ordered 75 wish bracelets in total for some 'pixie dust' bags we're making to leave around Disneyland Paris. We were pixie dusted the last time we visited and thought why not do it ourselves this year and add a bit of extra magic to holidays ❤️

There are 50 wish bracelets for children and then 25 for cast members.

I sent Lottie both messages that I would like on the backing card and then left the rest to her. The picture of the backing goes perfectly with what the bracelets are for.

The communication from start to point of delivery was fantastic.

I would highly recommend Lottie ❤️

Good morning and happy Tuesday! ☀️

Well... I'm not entirely sure it's good or happy, but we'll go with it anyway! 🤣

I did Pilates last night... and all I have to say is... why?! 🥴 Whoever invented Pilates must have had a very strange sense of humour because I ache in places I didn't even know existed! Was it a good workout? Absolutely. Do I currently regret every life choice that led me there? Also yes. 😂

Over at Dakota Crafts, Christmas in July is in full swing! 🎄 I'll be sharing another Christmas product later today, so keep an eye out.

Dakota had a brilliant time at holiday club yesterday and she's back again tomorrow and Thursday. In fact, she's already asked if she can go again next week, so I think that's a pretty good sign she's enjoying herself! ❤️

As for me... it's back to the day job today.
