New in the collection: the octagonal sterling silver napkin ring in collaboration with for custom hand engraving.
This could be your family crest, monogram or a single letter. Engraved silver napkin rings have a long tradition that goes back over a century. With its clean lines, this design makes the engraving the focal point, while taking inspiration from the elegant and timeless Nordic design language.

This is a solid 14 carat gold ring I made a while ago. It is set with a garnet, which is reminiscent of the colour the moon takes during a lunar eclipse.

A heavy chain necklace made from sterling silver. Each hexagon is formed and soldered, then sanded and polished through many stages. Then every other link is opened again, the chain linked and soldered again. Then some final polishing and finally hallmarking at the Assay Office.
It is available for sale. This will remain the only one of this type. I also have more lightweight options available, in silver and 9ct gold.

And slightly bigger hallmarks on this ring from the Glacier Collection. For this heavy ring I asked for the laser hallmarks to be bigger and they turned out really well!
From left to right:
BA = maker’s mark
Lion passant = sterling silver
925 = millesimal fineness mark
Leopard’s head = Assay Office London
W = date letter for 2021

The advantage of the hallmarking system in the UK is that you can be certain that you get what you are paying for. And it has been around since around 1300, which is a nice bit of tradition, too.

Tiny hallmarks on this Origin Collection pendant. Any sterling silver item over 7.78g needs to be hallmarked by the Assay Office.

Hexagonal hoops made from sterling silver. Hexagons appear in many places across the universe: from the well known places such as insect eyes and soap foam to the lesser known ones such as Saturn’s north pole and the basalt columns on Mars.
And it does not end there: the precious metals we use today originate in supernova explosions. The metals came to Earth through meteorite showers. This gives the sterling silver or gold hexagon a whole new dimension.

We can see hexagons everywhere in the world surrounding us – honeycombs, soap foam, insect eyes – but they can be found much further away, too. Mars has basalt columns and Saturn has a giant hexagon at its north pole.
