Workstation X at Arts Club - Future Voices in Design

Last week, together with , we came together at . To celebrate the next generation of architects and designers who are reshaping our industry.

For us at Workstation, it’s these future voices, the young innovators & creators that inspire everything we do. Shoreditch has always been a hub of creativity, and bringing this new wave of talent together felt for us like the perfect reflection of where design is heading.

A really HUGE thank you to all our friends that joined us, shared ideas, and made the night so inspiring. As well as the team at and everyone else who made the night so successful.

We are so excited to see how this new generation continues to push boundaries in design.

at 12 Charterhouse was well worth the wait!
 
Our team spent Wednesday morning exploring four floors, showcasing one hundred years of modern design. The space was dripping with heritage, elegance and character.
 
A huge thank you to for your hospitality. A morning of pastries, coffee and refined furniture, what more could we ask for. Our designers cannot wait to include some of Gubi’s amazing pieces in future projects.

NEW DESIGNERS 2025

We had the opportunity to visit this year’s New Designers event, celebrating 40 years of championing emerging creative talent.

It was a refreshing day spent exploring bold ideas, thoughtful design, and the energy of the next generation of creatives. There’s clearly no shortage of imagination or ambition, and we’re excited to see how these designers make their mark.

We also took time to sit in on ‘Navigating What’s Next’, a panel discussion hosted by Abby Bamford, with insights from Hannah Craggs, Liam Fisher, Kevin Haley, and Wim Wouters. The conversation tackled how the design industry is shifting, and how to move forward with purpose.

Some standout thoughts:
- AI can be a useful tool to support clearer, more connected collaboration between teams and generations.
- Sustainability shouldn’t be a separate goal, it needs to be part of the creative process from the start.
- And perhaps most importantly: real creativity comes from staying true to your own perspective, not chasing an “industry standard”.

A thought-provoking and energising day that left us reflecting on where design is headed, and who’s leading the way.

As the world’s most iconic design fair, this years campaign “Thought for Humans” explored the delicate relationship between human beings and materials. Light, wood, metal, fabric and bioplastics are all used to embody the values of sustainability, harmony and connection - fundamental pillars of the Salone del Mobile.

From innovative furniture pieces to breath taking installations, the Salone del Mobile has left us inspired. The future of design is bold, sustainable and full of creativity, and we can’t wait to introduce our clients to some of the exciting new products to help them with their own future goals.

🎄 Wrapping Up the Year at Sophie’s Soho 🎄
 
Last week the Workstation team took a well-deserved break to celebrate a busy and rewarding year over dinner at Sophie’s Soho. The table was full of laughter, silliness, and some great conversations as we looked back on everything we’ve accomplished over the year.
 
It was a reminder of how much we can achieve together and how important it is to take a moment to enjoy the journey.
 
Thank you to all our clients and industry friends who have joined us along the way.

A big thank you to .artist for leading an inspiring abstract art workshop. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore new techniques, think creatively, and let go of the need for perfection.
 
Workshops like this are a great reminder of the value of taking time for creative expression.
