August is when you really find out whether your garden furniture was worth the money. Four weeks of sustained use, heat, rain, being moved around, drinks spilled on it. Teak does not show any of that. The Victoria set looks exactly the same at the end of a busy summer as it did in May. That is not luck, it is just the material. With parasols selling well all summer it is worth mentioning this: a cover makes a real difference to how long the canopy lasts. Leaving it out in the rain and overnight through autumn shortens its life noticeably, even with UV-resistant fabric. Pop a cover on it from October and it will be in the same condition next May. The furniture can stay out. The parasol cover is worth having. Do you cover yours at the end of the season?

Six seats around a 1.2m round table with folding armchairs, all in solid teak. Now back in stock following our restocking delivery last week. The folding armchairs are proper full-arm chairs rather than the minimal versions you often see at this price point, and they store away in a small stack when not in use. Also new this year: the 2.7m octagonal in dark green. A size that covers a four-seater table really well without dominating a smaller garden, and a colour that works with almost any planting. The wooden frame is solid and the octagonal shape gives you more canopy area than a standard round at the same nominal size. Do you lean towards classic colours like green or would you go for something bolder?

Charlotte stacking chairs are back in stock and a new week is calling. Eight around a 1.5m round table, pedestal base, everyone gets a comfortable seat with proper arms. Back in stock. The Adirondack chair is one of those designs that people tend to sit in once and immediately want to own. Wide arms, a proper recline, solid teak that stays outside year-round. It is comfortable enough for a full afternoon and looks good doing it. Have you been waiting on this one?
