There is something so satisfying about watching my kids lay the table - working out where the forks go and taking it so seriously because they have been trusted with a special job :)

This is what we do most weekends - and it's even cuter when the pieces end up in the wrong place. Our dinner somehow tastes better for it.

Life is all over the place in the school holidays - this is the one hour a week we slow right down.
